Job description

MAINTENANCE MANAGER required by our Client, an Oil and Gas Operator, to be assigned on a Contract basis, located in Algeria.
DURATION 12 months on-going
ROTATION 28 Days On x 28 Days Off

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure the maintenance of all CPF and offsite equipment is performed properly to achieve injection, metering, storage, and shipping objectives for the field's production.
  • Plan maintenance operations for hydrocarbon production units, in compliance with safety rules and instructions.
  • Responsible for the regular monitoring of the operating condition of the installations and the execution of maintenance work on the units, and take the necessary decisions.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of the collection and service networks as well as the storage capacities to meet the planned level of production.
  • Transmit maintenance reports to the hierarchy on a daily basis.
  • Carry out studies to improve the performance of the installations.
  • Responsible for the establishment of permanent maintenance procedures.
  • Responsible for the periodic evaluation of staff performance, and development actions accordingly.
  • Manage the structure's budget.
  • Approve and control any modification made to the equipment.
  • Contribute to the engineering of modifications or extensions of the units.
  • Prepare the means for carrying out scheduled revisions.
  • Deal with any incident occurring on the facilities and take the necessary decisions.
  • Responsible for the supply of its structure with the spare parts necessary for the operation of the facilities.
  • Responsible for the availability of spare parts for strategic equipment.
  • Promote and lead organization for continuous improvement in safe work activities.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
  • Candidate must have a relevant qualification (such as Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Instrumentation & Controls, Maintenance or Mechanical Engineering) at degree level of higher.
  • Typically, 10+ years’ experience in Maintenance, Facilities and Operations.
  • Extensive team management, mentoring and coaching experience required.
  • Must have strong Project Management experience.
  • English language skills. French language skills are an advantage.
