Job description
Responsibilities
  • Perform various welding techniques (MIG & TIG) to join metal components securely and cleanly
  • Accurately assemble and fit fabricated parts, ensuring alignment, fit, and functionality according to design specifications
  • Support management in investigations on reported SHE incidents
  • Provide relevant containment, corrective and preventative action plans, escalating incidents in line with SHE
  • Install completed components and systems on sites or in workshops, including structural frameworks and piping
  • Read and understand engineering drawings
  • Conduct routine maintenance of tools and machinery to ensure operational efficiency and longevity
Qualifications
  • Apprentice trained with an Engineering qualification in Fabrication
  • MIG & TIG welding experience
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
  • Valid Driving Licence may be required to assist on other sites
