A luxury hotel in Slough is seeking a maintenance technician to provide proactive and reactive maintenance services in guest areas and throughout the hotel.   • Be conversant with all maintenance department policies and procedures.
  • Understand all areas of operation, including Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing.
  • Comply with health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as requested by management.
  • Perform all duties professionally and efficiently.
Job description

In line with One Aldwych policies and procedures, provide a pro‑active and re‑active maintenance service to the guest bedrooms and all hotel areas, back of house and front of house under the guidance of the Chief Engineer and Assistant Chief Engineer, thus maintaining the hotel’s systems and decorative order and appearance to the highest standards, on a 4‑day on/4‑day off shift pattern.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out Reactive and Planned Preventative Maintenance activities in accordance with company and departmental standards to all areas of the hotel, including guest bedrooms, public areas, and main plant/machinery.
  • Protect the assets of the hotel and company, including any issued uniform and tools.
  • Be conversant with all maintenance department policies and procedures.
  • Understand all areas of operation, including Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing.
  • Comply with all current relevant health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by senior management.
  • Perform all duties professionally, promptly, and efficiently.
