Maintenance Engineer / Multiskilled Engineer / Service Technician

We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer / Multiskilled Engineer / Service Technician to join a leading provider of packaging and food processing machinery & solutions. The role will involve providing mechanical and electrical repair, service and maintenance on food processing machinery, automated packaging machinery, material handling products and more at the site in Preston.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical and electrical repair, service and maintenance on food processing machinery, automated packaging machinery, material handling products, etc.
• Repair, build and install machinery such as conveyors, robotics, industrial chillers, labelling machines, vacuum machines, flow wrappers, production lines and other electromechanical machinery.
• Install electromechanical machinery in all forms of the food & beverage manufacturing industry.
• Liaise with various engineering departments.

Requirements

• Experience as a Multiskilled Engineer, Conveyor Engineer, Electromechanical Engineer, FMCG Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Service Technician or similar.
• Electrical and mechanical maintenance experience of equipment such as conveyors, robotics, industrial chillers, labelling machines, vacuum machines, flow wrappers, production lines and other electromechanical machinery.
• Good working knowledge of three-phase electrics is advantageous.
• A technical engineering degree / qualification or apprentice trained, would be advantageous.
• Willingness to commute to site in Preston.
• Ability to maintain good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.
