Maintenance Engineer

Location: Rugby, Leicester

Position Summary

ARE YOU A MULTI SKILLED MAINTENANCE ENGINEER WITH EXPERIENCE WORKING IN A MANUFACTURING SETTING? ARE YOU HAPPY TO BE THE SOLE ENGINEER ON SITE?

Maintenance Engineer required for a well established manufacturing company who offer an autonomous role where you will have the responsibility of being the sole engineer on site.

The role would suit maintenance engineers who are strong mechanically and electrically. You must have previous experience working within a manufacturing or production setting. Engineers with previous experience working within a plastics or injection moulding environment will have a considerable advantage and are encouraged to apply.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and carrying out all maintenance activities on site. There will be a mixture of pre-planned maintenance, breakdown and reactive maintenance, facilities/fabrics maintenance activities as well as project and continuous improvement tasks. This is a role which will entail both mechanical and electrical works. You will be responsible for working with external parties for specialist works and installation as well maintaining all engineering records/paperwork on site.
