Job summary

A leading pharmaceutical company in Guildford is seeking a Site Engineer to join their small engineering team. The role involves maintenance, installation, and repair of facilities, equipment, and utilities on site, primarily during standard day shifts from 7AM to 3PM. Candidates should possess strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently or in a team. Experience in Clean Room Conditions and with scientific equipment is highly advantageous, offering a competitive salary up to £55K per annum negotiable based on experience.

Overview

Do you have experience as a Site Engineer, Commissioning Engineer, or Field Service Engineer? Are you looking for a new role with a highly successful specialist pharmaceutical company?

A manufacturer of specialist pharmaceuticals are currently seeking a Site Engineer to join the team at their site in Guildford. The role will be part of a small engineering team and will involve maintenance, installation and repair of facilities, equipment and utilities on site. This is a permanent, full time role. Predominantly standard day shifts 7AM-3PM.

Role Overview
  • Responsible for maintenance, installation, asset management & scheduling activities on site.
  • Responsible for Facilities, Equipment and Utilities used in manufacture and analysis of pharmaceuticals, including Asset Management and Scheduling.
  • First Line maintenance and repair as well as liaising with OEMs and external contractors to avoid downtime.
  • £55kpa , potential for negotiation DOE.
Requirements
  • Strong experience in troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Able to work within a small team and independently, driving multi disciplinary conversations and solutions.
  • Any prior experience of working in Clean Room Conditions and with any of the foloinwg is highly beneficial : FDG Synthesisers, Cyclotrons, Hot Cells & any scientific equipment or instruments.
