Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for a large static estate in North Greenwich, South East London. You will handle M&E and fabric maintenance across multiple buildings with no on-call out of hours.

The role requires mechanical or electrical qualifications, City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2, and prior commercial/property maintenance experience, including high-end residential settings. A reliable, customer-focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have mechanical or electrical trade qualification and copies available
• City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 confirmed
• Experience in commercial or property maintenance
• High-end residential experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Carry out M&E and fabric maintenance across the estate
• Perform planned and reactive maintenance across multiple buildings
• Monitor and service lighting and emergency lighting systems
• Support BMS and UPS monitoring
• Ensure statutory compliance and building fabric upkeep
• Assist with HIUs and general site maintenance

Maintenance Engineer - North Greenwich, South East London - Up to 42,000

Are you bored of working in an office? Would you like a role with NO CALL OUT! Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Property company based in North Greenwich, South East London. I am currently recruiting for an Maintenance Engineer to be based at a large mixed used estate situated by North Greenwich, South East London. The successful candidate will be Maintenance Engineer with a proven track record in commercial / property building maintenance. He or she will be required to carry out M&E/Fabric planned and reactive maintenance / Installation across this large static site (Mixed Used Development including commercial offices, High end residential and sports venues).

Working with the maintenance team on site (6 Engineers over 17 buildings). He or she will be required to have an understanding/hands on experience of the below. Our client is happy to consider maintenance engineers who have completed their apprenticeships who have some commercial building maintenance experience but want to learn. • Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballast, Control panel, Power distribution)
• Emergency lighting
• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
• Chillers - Re-set
• Water Treatment (Temperature checks)
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
• UPS Systems - Monitor / Take readings
• General building fabric
• Statatory Compliance
• HIU's

Hours of work

Monday to Friday - 08:00am to 17:00pm (40 hour week)

Requirements

• Mechanically or Electrically qualified - You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
• City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2
• A proven track record in commercial or property maintenance
• High End Residential Experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Happy to cover a large estate
• Honest, hard working and reliable

Package

• 35-42,000 depending on experience
• Overtime available
