Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd in Battersea, South West London is seeking an Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a large residential estate on a full-time basis. You will work on M&E/fabric maintenance, lighting, AHU, BMS monitoring, and urgent repairs as part of a small on-site team; a strong trade background (C&G NVQ Level 2/3) is required.

The role offers a competitive salary up to £45,000, no call-outs, overtime, 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, and a pension.

Qualifications

• You must provide copies of your trade certificates.
• City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 & 3 required.
• Proven track record in commercial or property maintenance.
• Experience in high-end residential environments preferred.
• Excellent customer service and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Carry out M&E/fabric planned and reactive maintenance across a large static site.
• Maintenance tasks include lighting, emergency lighting, air handling units, chillers, water treatment, plumbing, BMS monitoring, UPS readings.
• Ensure statutory compliance and general building fabric upkeep.
• Participate in on-site team activities with 3 engineers.

Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Property company based in Battersea, South West London. I am currently recruiting for an Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / plumber to be based at a large residential estate situated by Battersea, South West London. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance Engineer or plumber with a proven track record in commercial / property building maintenance. He or she will be required to carry out M&E/Fabric planned and reactive maintenance / Installation across this large static site.

Working with the maintenance team on site (3 Engineers). He or she will be required to have an understanding/hands on experience of the below. Our client is happy to consider mechanical engineers or plumbers who have completed their apprenticeships (Must have C&G Level 2 as a minimum) who have some commercial building maintenance experience but want to learn. • Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballast, Control panel, Power distribution)
• Emergency lighting
• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
• Chillers - Re-set
• Water Treatment (Temperature checks)
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e.Hot & Colds)
• UPS Systems - Monitor / Take readings
• General building fabric

Hours of work

Monday to Friday - 08:00am to 17:00pm (40 hour week)

Requirements

• Electrically, Mechanically or Plumbing qualified - You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
• City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 & 3
• A proven track record in commercial or property maintenance
• High End Residential Experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Happy to cover a large estate
• Honest, hard working and reliable

Package

• £45,000 depending on experience
