Cbw Staffing Solutions is recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a high-end property on Kensington High Street, West London. The role covers M&E and fabric maintenance on a large static site with an on-site team.

The ideal candidate will hold City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2/3 and have proven experience in commercial/property maintenance, with a hands-on approach to lighting, AHUs, chillers, BMS, and water treatment. Salary up to £45,000 plus overtime and benefits.

• City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 and 3 required.
• Proven maintenance experience in commercial/property settings.

Responsibilities

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Kensington High Street, West London - Up to £45,000

Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Property company based in Kensington High Street, West London. I am currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to be based at a large high end property situated by Kensington High Street, West London. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with a proven track record in commercial / property building maintenance. He or she will be required to carry out M&E/Fabric planned and reactive maintenance / Installation across this large static site (High End Residential Development).

Working with the maintenance team of 3 on site. He or she will be required to have an understanding/hands on experience of the below. They will consider mechanical engineers who have recently completed their apprenticeships (Must have C&G Level 2 as a minimum) who have some commercial building maintenance experience as well as experienced mechanical engineers. • Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballast, Control panel, Power distribution)
• Emergency lighting
• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
• Chillers - Re-set
• Water Treatment (Temperature checks)
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
• UPS Systems - Monitor / Take readings
• General building fabric
• Statatory Compliance
• HIU's

Hours of work

Monday to Friday - 08:00am to 17:0 pm (40 hour week)

Requirements

• Mechanically qualified - You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
• City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2&3
• A proven track record in commercial or property maintenance
• High End Residential Experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Happy to cover a large site
• Honest, hard working and reliable
