Maintenance Engineer

Hours: 3 shift | Days, Noons & Nights | Rotating Weekly (40-hour week)

Salary: £46,550pa inclusive of shift premium

Location : Ripley

Are you an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer looking to join a forward-thinking business that values safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement? We’re looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our clients established engineering team in Ripley. Working within a small, supportive shift team, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of machinery and equipment across a busy site. You’ll take ownership of both reactive and planned preventative maintenance tasks, while helping to drive proactive engineering and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Maintaining, fault-finding, and repairing mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors.
  • Performing welding, fabrication, and machining when required.
  • Supporting improvements in facility safety, security, and efficiency.
  • Accurately updating the CMMS system
  • Working collaboratively with engineers, operators, and management to ensure smooth production.
