Maintenance Engineer - Basingstoke

Salary: £42,000

Shifts: Earlies (6am-2pm) / Lates (2pm-10pm), rotating

Overview

This is a multi-skilled maintenance role based at a full-scale manufacturing site in Basildon. The facility includes on‑site laboratory testing and production lines manufacturing over 30 products, with key customers across the UK, Europe, and Asia.

Role Summary for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

The position involves a balance of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance. You'll also support specialist contractors carrying out both routine and emergency tasks.

PPM Work: 65%

Reactive Maintenance: 35%

Frequent Issues: Sensor‑related faults

Support: Liaising with contractors on site when needed
