Job summary

A leading engineering company is seeking a Maintenance Electrician for their site in Crewe, UK. This role involves carrying out both reactive and planned maintenance tasks at a heavy engineering site. The successful candidate must have electrical qualifications and a full UK driving license. Responsibilities include maintaining all electrical plant and participating in a call out rota. Overtime and call-out pay are available. This position is full-time with a temporary contract.

Job description

Maintenance Electrician Static site - Crewe - Large Depot. £19.50 PAYE - £25.35 Umbrella

Based at a heavy engineering site in Crewe, you will carry out reactive and planned maintenance of building services in line with SFG20.

To deliver site based maintenance at the advertised location, and to participate in a call out rota. Full UK driving license required.

Ensure that routine PPM (to SFG 20) is carried out to all electrical plant in accordance with Site task schedules and asset lists.

Ensure that reactive tasks throughout the building are completed and be proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made. These reactive calls to also include concessionary stores and fabric related items.

Ensure that plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied to maintain plant in serviceable order at all times. Must have relevant Electrical qualifications and be prepared to work overtime (paid) and call out.
