A community health provider in Brighton is seeking an experienced Engineer to conduct fault diagnosis and repair across various mechanical building services. The role requires good time management, a flexible approach to tasks, and a strong awareness of Health and Safety. Successful candidates will support semi-skilled staff, handle equipment like gas-fired appliances, and maintain heating systems. Ideal candidates will possess relevant qualifications and experience, with a commitment to providing high-quality service in community health.
To carry out fault diagnosis, repair and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) work on all Mechanical building services and equipment within Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust (SCFT) and any other local Trusts/organisations to which SCFT provide a service. To apply a flexible attitude and approach to carrying out all assigned tasks. To provide support and advice to semi-skilled and Apprentice engineering staff. The successful candidate must have good time management skills, be able to work alone or unsupervised when necessary and be very Health and Safety aware. The postholder will apply a flexible attitude and approach to carrying out all assigned tasks. The postholder will have incidental contact with patients such as giving wayfinding instructions.
