We are seeking a MA/SVQ Assessor/IV Health & Social Care to be based at our Thurso, Dornoch or Alness campuses.
A college + university like no other
With 19 campuses and centres across the North and West Highlands, Skye, and Outer Hebrides, we cover a geographic area larger than Wales, comprising 40% of Scotland’s coastline. The post holder will be responsible for achieving the recruitment, retention and outcome targets of candidates on work‑based SVQ Care programmes, liaising with candidates, employers and various College staff/departments to ensure an excellent candidate experience and compliance with health and safety standards, and supporting programme evaluation, enhancement and continuing personal development.
The suitable candidate will hold a relevant qualification in the subject area – at minimum SVQ Level 3 but ideally at Level 4 (SCQF Level 8) or have comparable knowledge and experience in the care sector and will ideally hold a valid workplace assessing or verifying qualification, although training can be given.
A level of Gaelic ability would be advantageous to your application.
