Overview

An established building services contractor is seeking an experienced M&E Project Manager to lead the delivery of multi-disciplinary projects across sectors including commercial, healthcare, education, and industrial. This role involves managing mechanical, electrical, and public health systems from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover. You\'ll be responsible for technical compliance, programme control, stakeholder coordination, and budget management.

Salary: Up to £60,000 plus package

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead projects from concept to completion, ensuring seamless M&E integration
  • Manage programmes, procurement schedules, and resource plans
  • Oversee technical reviews, design coordination, and commissioning
  • Control budgets, variations, and financial reporting
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, CDM, and environmental standards
  • Chair meetings and maintain clear communication with clients and teams
  • Use CRM/project software (e.g., SimPro) to manage workflow and reporting
Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years\' experience managing multi-disciplinary M&E projects
  • Strong technical knowledge across HVAC, power, lighting, BMS, and ELV systems
  • Familiarity with construction regulations and industry standards
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Project Management qualifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, APM) desirable
  • Experience with BIM, CAD, and digital engineering tools beneficial
