A health organization in North Wales is seeking a Principal Clinical / Practitioner Psychologist to join their Living Well Service. The successful candidate will work in a supportive multidisciplinary team to support patients with complex conditions, including Long COVID and functional neurological disorders. HCPC registration is required, and the ability to speak Welsh is desirable. This role offers a unique opportunity for service development and research involvement.
We have an exciting opportunity for an HCPC registered Principle Clinical / Practitioner Psychologist to join our Living Well Service. We are looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a skilled multidisciplinary team. The team is co-led by a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Consultant Therapist and the MDT includes Clinical Psychologists, Assistant Psychologists, Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Dietetics, GP and admin staff. The service supports people presenting with Long COVID, other post viral conditions, complex breathlessness, functional neurological disorder and other persistent physical symptoms.
The Living Well Service is a new innovative team providing a range of opportunities for the applicant to get involved in service development, shaping the way we work with vulnerable groups who might otherwise fall through the gaps in services. We are an award winning, friendly and supportive team; who are research active, with a passion for co-production with our partners with Lived Experience.
We are passionate about the co-development of our service and enriching it with research. Therefore, the post holder will have opportunities to help us to continue developing these two important areas.
