Job summary

Carden Park Hotel Ltd in the UK seeks a personable Spa Receptionist to join our award‑winning 5* spa team. You’ll be the first contact for guests, delivering a warm welcome and handling check‑ins, bookings and payments with care.

You will upsell treatments and experiences, liaise with therapists, and maintain high standards of presentation in the reception area, helping guests get the most from their spa visit.

Qualifications

• A warm, friendly and professional personality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence to upsell treatments, experiences and retail products and handle payments.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to remain calm and organised in a busy environment.
• A proactive approach, with the ability to anticipate guest needs and go the extra mile.
• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also taking ownership of responsibilities.
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and develop knowledge of our Spa offering.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests to the Spa with a warm, professional reception.
• Checking guests in and ensuring they have everything they need.
• Processing payments accurately for spa experiences, treatments and products.
• Responding to guest enquiries and meeting their requirements.
• Managing bookings, appointments and guest requests with attention to detail.
• Liaising with Spa Therapists to ensure a smooth guest journey.
• Upselling treatments and retail products based on guest needs.
• Maintaining high standards of presentation and service in the reception area.
