The Parkgate Hotel’s Celtic Collection invites an friendly Casual Spa Receptionist to join the Spa team in Cardiff. You will greet guests, manage bookings, and support daily front-desk operations ensuring a seamless guest journey in a luxury wellness setting.

With prior reception or customer service experience, you will communicate clearly, stay organized, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of facilities and promotions, helping guests feel welcomed and valued throughout their visit.

Qualifications

• Previous reception, administration or customer service experience in hospitality, leisure, spa or hotel environments.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office and Outlook confidently.
• Professional, friendly and welcoming manner.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy environment.
• Genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests to the Spa and provide a warm, professional first impression.
• Manage appointments, bookings and guest enquiries efficiently.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Spa facilities, treatments, services and promotions.
• Assist guests with information about The Parkgate Hotel and wider Celtic Collection facilities.
• Handle guest feedback professionally, escalating concerns to the Spa Manager when appropriate.
• Support the Spa team with administrative duties, reporting and record management.
• Assist with retail sales, stock monitoring and maintaining attractive product displays.
• Ensure all guest information is recorded accurately and confidentially.
• Help maintain the smooth day-to-day operation of the Spa Reception area.
• Deliver exceptional customer service at every stage of the guest journey.
