Job summary

Sofitel Heathrow – Arora Group is seeking a friendly luggage porter to join our front-of-house team at the terminal 5 hotel. You will welcome guests, assist with luggage, and ensure belongings are handled promptly and securely across shift patterns.

We value smart, professional appearance, good communication, and teamwork. Prior 5-star hotel experience is advantageous; full training is provided and there are clear career progression opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Luggage porters in our team provide a warm welcome to our guests, assisting with their luggage and fulfilling their requests promptly and efficiently.
• Greet our guest with a warm welcome and an infectious smile
• Assists our guests in and out vehicles by opening doors graciously and courteously.
• Ensuring all luggage needs are dealt with promptly and professionally.
• Knowledgeable about the hotel facilities, activities, promotions, and happenings in the local area to provide accurate information.
• Deliver or collect any guest’s packages, messages, and letters from their rooms.
• Manage luggage storage room ensuring luggage is labelled and stored neatly.

Job description

Salary – £26,520 plus TroncHoliday – 28 days holiday, enhanced after 5 years of service.
