Job summary

Sofitel London Heathrow is seeking a friendly luggage porter to join our front-of-house team at the airport hotel. You will warmly greet guests, assist with luggage, open doors, and help guests and their belongings move smoothly around the property.

You should be guest-focused, maintain a smart appearance, and enjoy working as part of a team. Previous 5-star hotel experience is an advantage, and you'll have a proactive, approachable manner ready to deliver exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Greet our guest with a warm welcome and an infectious smile.
• Assists our guests in and out vehicles by opening doors graciously and courteously.
• Ensuring all luggage needs are dealt with promptly and professionally.
• Knowledgeable about the hotel facilities, activities, promotions, and happenings in the local area to provide accurate information.
• Deliver or collect any guest’s packages, messages, and letters from their rooms.
• Manage luggage storage room ensuring luggage is labelled and stored neatly.

Luggage porters in our team provide a warm welcome to our guests, assisting with their luggage and fulfilling their requests promptly and efficiently. They are instrumental in creating a memorable stay for each of our guests.
