Job summary

Intact Insurance UK is seeking an experienced Commercial Loss Adjuster to join its growing team covering the East Anglia region. You will manage a diverse portfolio of commercial property claims, work closely with clients and brokers, and deliver exceptional claims service for one of the UK's leading insurers.

Qualifications

• Experience handling high value commercial property claims.
• Experience managing suppliers and builders to protect indemnity spend.
• Able to analyse claims and identify coverage and recovery issues.
• Knowledge of building and construction is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Undertake commercial claim visits and manage from instruction to settlement.
• Travel to meet customers and third parties for claim handling.
• Handle a portfolio of commercial property claims across various sectors.
• Collaborate with a team of adjusters and technical experts.
• Support policy improvements with the technical team.

Intact Insurance is seeking an experienced Commercial Loss Adjuster to join its growing team, covering the East Anglia region. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of commercial property claims, work closely with clients and brokers, and play a key role in delivering exceptional claims service for one of the UK's leading insurers.

You’ll Make An Impact By

• Undertaking commercial claim visits and providing efficient, customer focussed service by project managing claims from instruction to settlement.
• Working from home, you will travel and meet with customers and third-parties on a one-to-one basis, bringing excellent organisational, communication and relationship building skills.
• Demonstrate your knowledge of commercial property insurance when handling a portfolio of cases, including property owner, retail, industrial and offices, across all perils typically between the values of £10k to £100k.
• You’ll work alongside a larger team of Commercial Adjusters and Technical Experts.
• Work closely with our technical team to continuously improve best practice and generate policy improvements.

Your Skills And Experience

• Experience of working in the field handling high value Commercial Property claims.
• Experience managing suppliers and builders using tight controls to protect indemnity spend.
• Proven ability to analyse and review claims, identifying coverage, validation and recovery issues but ensuring our customers journey takes the correct path whilst controlling indemnity.
• Knowledge of general building and construction will be advantageous.
• Cert CII/Cert CILA will be beneficial to possess.
