Job summary

Intact Insurance seeks an experienced Commercial Loss Adjuster to cover the East Anglia region, managing a diverse portfolio of commercial property claims. You will travel from home to engage with clients and brokers, delivering a high-quality claims service as part of one of the UK’s leading insurers.

You will work with a team of adjusters and technical specialists to analyse claims, control indemnity spend, and continuously improve practice standards.

Qualifications

• Experience handling high value Commercial Property claims.
• Experience managing suppliers and builders with controls to protect indemnity spend.
• Ability to analyse and review claims, identify coverage and recovery issues while guiding customer journey.
• Knowledge of building and construction is advantageous.
• CII/CILA certification is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Undertake commercial claim visits and manage claims from instruction to settlement with a customer-focused approach.
• Travel from home to meet customers and third-parties, building strong relationships.
• Handle a portfolio of commercial property cases (owners, retail, industrial, offices) across common perils with values typically £10k–£100k.
• Work with a team of Commercial Adjusters and Technical Experts.
• Collaborate with the technical team to drive best practices and policy improvements.

Intact Insurance is seeking an experienced Commercial Loss Adjuster to join its growing team, covering the East Anglia region . This is an exciting opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of commercial property claims, work closely with clients and brokers, and play a key role in delivering exceptional claims service for one of the UK's leading insurers.

You’ll make an impact by:

• Undertaking commercial claim visits and providing efficient, customer focussed service by project managing claims from instruction to settlement.
• Working from home, you will travel and meet with customers and third-parties on a one-to-one basis, bringing excellent organisational, communication and relationship building skills.
• Demonstrate your knowledge of commercial property insurance when handling a portfolio of cases, including property owner, retail, industrial and offices, across all perils typically between the values of £10k to £100k.
• You'll work alongside a larger team of Commercial Adjusters and Technical Experts.
• Work closely with our technical team to continuously improve best practice and generate policy improvements.

Your skills and experience:

• Experience of working in the field handling high value Commercial Property claims.
• Experience managing suppliers and builders using tight controls to protect indemnity spend.
• Proven ability to analyse and review claims, identifying coverage, validation and recovery issues but ensuring our customers journey takes the correct path whilst controlling indemnity.
• Knowledge of general building and construction will be advantageous.
• Cert CII/Cert CILA will be beneficial to possess.
