Job summary

Canonical seeks a results-oriented technical support specialist based in London to assist employees and customers, including AV support for conferences. You will own cases from qualification to resolution and collaborate with senior engineers as needed.

You will work onsite in London, be part of a team that emphasizes open source values, and continually expand your knowledge of Ubuntu, Linux, and cloud technologies while delivering exceptional customer care.

Qualifications

• Excellent command of English, written and spoken.
• Ability to explain complex technical issues clearly and empathetically.
• Strong academic track record in school and university.
• Undergraduate degree in a technical field or a compelling alternative narrative.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers across remote sessions and live conversations to understand and resolve technical roadblocks.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams to translate open-source challenges into clear solutions.
• Own and manage support cases with transparent communication to customers.
• Develop understanding of Ubuntu development processes and provide timelines for fixes.
• Create and maintain knowledge base articles for the community.
