We are looking for someone to join our logistics side of JD.com and be responsible for logistics network planning in the European region.

Job Responsibilities：

1. UK&EU Network Planning : Responsible for logistics network planning in the European region, mainly including warehouse network planning (warehouse network model, network layout, site selection), transport network planning (transhipment and dispatching model, transportation route and schedule planning), and terminal planning (network layout, site selection, operation model).
2. Optimisation and Innovation of Network Models : Continuously optimise the network, design, site selection strategies, and fulfilment models; explore innovative models in line with industry trends and business needs to support business expansion or enhance operational efficiency.
3. Network Efficiency Optimisation : Based on the entire fulfilment process, identify time and cost efficiency issues and give optimisation plans, drive their implementation to achieve enhanced timeliness, cost reduction, and efficiency increase.
4. Rule Formulation and Process Optimisation : Develop implementation plans and management standards for the execution of planning schemes and network optimisation, clarify cross-departmental and cross-linkage mechanism rules, to ensure the implementation of measures.

Experience and skill set :

• Recognised experience in European logistics network planning, logistics process planning and related work (European e-commerce, or large European 3PL).
• Excellent communicator across departments, stakeholders and countries
• Understanding of the European logistics industry and market
• Knowledgable and up to date with the development trends of the industry and familiarity with the method and logic of network layout planning.
• Rigorous logical thinking and data sensitivity, good analysis and summarisation abilities, especially strong data analysis skills and proficient in at least one data analysis tool, such as EXCEL, SQL, Python, etc.
• Strong project management and cross-departmental coordination skill
• Adaptable to a certain level of business travel (within Europe)
