Logistics Manager – £45,000 DOE + Excellent Benefits Package

What you\'ll be doing
- Leading the logistics operation, including hauliers, carriers, loading bays, and yard management
- Managing a team of team leaders, operatives, and administrators to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Overseeing inbound and outbound scheduling, stock reconciliations, and inventory management
- Monitoring carrier performance, ensuring compliance with SLAs, and negotiating contracts
- Working closely with planning, customer care, exports, and inventory teams to meet business needs
- Ensuring compliance with ISO9001 and all site procedures
- Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and customer focus
- Managing site H&S standards and ensuring safe operations across the logistics function
What you\'ll bring
- Experience managing logistics/transport operations in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate teams
- Commercial awareness with the ability to make decisions that balance cost, quality, and service
- Confidence in analysing performance data and driving improvements
- Good IT skills (Microsoft Office essential; SAP/Witron/Cargoclix experience desirable)
- Knowledge of ISO, lean techniques, and H&S compliance (IOSH/NEBOSH desirable)
- A proactive, adaptable, and process-driven mindset with excellent attention to detail
