A logistics management company is seeking a Logistics Manager in Glasgow, responsible for end-to-end logistics planning for a competition venue. Reporting directly to the Logistics Cluster Manager, the Logistics Manager will be responsible for the planning, delivery, and decommissioning of logistics operations across a precinct or competition venue.
This role requires an experienced multi-site logistics professional with proven ability to lead large teams, manage time‑critical deliveries, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders in a high‑pressure, fixed‑deadline environment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in major events, preferably multi‑sport competitions, and a strong commitment to operational excellence, safety, and sustainability.
The role will commence in the Organising Company’s Glasgow city centre office, with visits required to competition venues to fully deliver the responsibilities of the role. The location for the role will transition to be based at a competition venue for Games Delivery.
The role will be contracted for 40 hours per week, with requirements to be in the office aligned to the Organising Company’s planned working pattern. All travel to your place of work will be at your own cost. During the Games Operational period, shift patterns are likely to be required which could include weekends.
