Job summary

Distribution Coordinator is key to delivering a seamless customer experience—managing finished goods orders from initial entry or receipt by Customer Service through to final delivery across global markets. In this dynamic role, you orchestrate all logistics and transportation activities to provide best‑in‑class service in the most efficient way. You’ll work closely with Customer Service, Planning, Quality, Warehouse teams, Carriers, 4PL (Alis), and customs to keep every order moving smoothly. Additionally, you will handle non‑product–related customer complaints, ensuring quick, thoughtful resolutions. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact—ensuring the right products reach the right customers at the right time!

What you’ll be doing in your new role:
  • Responsible to manage all the logistic & transport aspects from order entry (affiliate markets) or order receipt by Customer Service (direct & distributors markets) to final delivery of products to customers, which include the synchronization of the order release to the warehouse, the management of specific customer requirements as well as the coordination of the logistics documents, the carriers booking/scheduling and the customs activities.
  • Responds to order enquiries, advises any potential delays / impact in timely manner and address resolution with relevant key stakeholders.
  • Acts as primary interface between Customer Service and Supply Chain / Ortho organization as it comes to deliver orders to customers.
  • Monitors the orders (and especially the aging orders) to ensure allocated orders are transmitted to the warehouse and that validated orders at 3PL are shipped (potential scrap mitigation).
  • Manages customer non‑products related complaints and champion resolution.
  • Executes product return and credit note as well as ensure that all procedures and working instruction are kept up to date.
The individual:
  • Bachelor to Master degree – specialized in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics or Transport.
  • At least 1 year+ of relevant experience in Logistic, Distribution, Transport with good understanding of pan‑European logistic organization.
  • Customer‑orientated.
  • Organization: well organized, good sense of priorities & multi‑tasking.
  • Teamwork: able to work in a team, including remote colleagues.
  • Communication: excellent verbal & written communication skills (including soft skills).
  • Good understanding of export & customs regulations.
  • Committed & flexible.
  • Languages: Fluency in English.
  • Computer literate and working knowledge of software such as Word and Excel, ERP knowledge.

The role is offered on a 6-month fixed‑term contract basis.

The role is based in Pencoed, Wales or Galway, Ireland.
