Requirements
  • Registered dental practitioner with Licence to Practice with the General Dental Council (GDC).
  • Completed four years full‑time postgraduate training (or equivalent on a less than full‑time or flexible basis) since first registration, including adequate experience in the relevant specialty.
  • Equivalent training, experience or competencies, either in the UK or overseas.
  • Completion of at least 3 years full‑time postgraduate training with demonstrable experience supporting patients in Oral Medicine and Oral Surgery.
Responsibilities
  • Work 10 private appointments with days of work agreed with the Clinical Director.
  • Report to Lorraine Canning, Clinical Services Manager and to Professional Leads William Harrison and Laura Bryce; collaborate with colleagues within Oral Medicine, Oral Surgery and the wider Dental Institute.
Application Details

Applications are welcome for the fixed‑term 8‑month, full‑time (40 hours per week) post based in the Edinburgh Dental Institute. The post holder will fill a total of 10 sessions over the 8‑month period. Post start date can be flexible.
