Job summary

A leading NHS Trust in the United Kingdom is seeking an enthusiastic full-time Locum Consultant Anaesthetist responsible for cardiac anaesthesia and intensive care. The role involves managing patients under care, providing elective and emergency anaesthetic services, and collaborating with Consultant colleagues. The supportive Anaesthetic Department consists of 8 full-time cardiac anaesthetists and 5 cardiac surgeons, offering comprehensive services at the Trent Cardiac Centre.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic and committed with a responsibility in Cardiac Anaesthesia and Cardiac Intensive Care.
• Experience in managing patients in comprehensive elective and emergency anaesthetic services.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Consultant colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients admitted under care in accordance with the agreed Job Plan.
• Provide comprehensive elective and emergency anaesthetic services.
• Devote substantially whole time to duties of the post.
