Job Overview

ST1-2 Equivalent - Paediatrics. Fixed term 6 month contract from February 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high quality care and work alongside a growing team.
  • Maintain the highest clinical standards in the management of patients.
  • Assist with teaching and training of junior staff, medical students and other professionals.
  • Actively participate in both departmental and Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance and audit.
  • Ensure active participation in continuing medical education (CME).
  • Work on the on‑call rota alongside 10 consultants, 5 specialty doctors, 4 paediatric resident doctors, 2 locally employed doctors, 3 FY2 and 2 FY1 doctors.
  • Support the delivery of high quality care to children in the local population.
