Job summary

Sanctuary Group is seeking a Local Service Manager for our CQC-registered disability service at Silverbirch View, Sutton Park, Shrewsbury. You will lead the day-to-day operations, support a compassionate team, and ensure service delivery meets safeguarding and CQC standards.

• Lead the day-to-day delivery of the service and support your team
• Build and maintain positive relationships with partners and stakeholders
• Manage budgets and oversee financial performance
• Effectively manage and market homes/voids
• Recruit, develop and motivate your team to achieve great outcomes
• Ensure health and safety standards are met and adapt working hours when needed, All roles require safeguarding and pre-employment checks, including criminal records and overseas police checks where needed. Information provided during recruitment may be verified as part of these checks.

• Experience in a managerial role within a similar service
• NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
• Strong leadership, problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and support people in a personalised way
• Knowledge of CQC regulations and confidence working with partners
• Confident using IT systems and experienced in supporting people with disabilities

We work closely with the Home Office in order to prevent illegal working.
