Job summary

SumUp is seeking experienced field sales consultants to win new merchants in your local area on a self-employed, commission-only basis. You’ll prospect door-to-door, visit local businesses with high payment volumes, demonstrate SumUp products and manage the full sales cycle to onboarding.

You’ll need to build relationships with owners and generate referrals to grow your territory. This role offers uncapped earnings and a chance to work independently with training and support from SumUp.

Qualifications

• At least one year of field sales experience, preferably in direct-to-owner engagements.
• Proven ability to prospect, qualify and close new business.
• Experience selling to small/medium businesses and engaging owners or decision-makers.
• Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing a sale from initial contact to close.

Responsibilities

• Find new customers through face-to-face visits and direct outreach.
• Target local businesses with high payment volumes for SumUp solutions.
• Demonstrate products and handle objections to close deals.
• Manage the sale from first contact to onboarding of customers.
• Set up and train customers on SumUp products and keep CRM updated.
• Build relationships with business owners and seek referrals.
