Job summary

SumUp is seeking a self‑employed Field Sales Partner to build a local merchant network and sell SumUp solutions with uncapped upfront commissions and long‑term residuals. This freelance role offers no base salary, with earnings tied to performance and territory success.

You will manage your own pipeline, prospect 30 local SMEs daily, and close new merchant partnerships through consultative selling while thriving in a commission‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-rejection, face-to-face or B2B sales environments such as field sales, door-to-door, telecoms, energy broking, or merchant services.
• Able to generate and manage a personal pipeline with minimal supervision.
• Comfort with self-employment and building a business without a base salary.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting at least 30 local SMEs daily via face-to-face visits and outbound outreach.
• Consultative selling to analyze merchant needs and present SumUp ecosystem as the long-term solution.
• Own territory and manage CRM from initial conversation to onboarding and activation.
• Create three real sales conversations daily and convert to 3–5 new merchant partnerships weekly.
• Become the recognised payments expert within your local business community.
