SumUp is seeking a self-employed Field Sales Partner to build a local business selling merchant services and payments solutions. You will operate in your own region with upfront commissions and recurring revenue, backed by a leading fintech brand.

Qualifications

• Proven Track Record in high-rejection, face-to-face or B2B sales environments such as field sales, door-to-door, telecoms, energy broking, or merchant services.
• The Hunter Mindset: thrive on cold approaches and handle objections skillfully.
• Financial Resilience: understand self-employment and sustain a pipeline before residuals kick in.
• Self-Discipline: fully self-directed operation with no need for daily management.
• Commercial Awareness: articulate value of recurring revenue to business owners in plain English.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting at least 30 local SMEs daily via face-to-face visits and outbound outreach.
• Analyze merchants' current payment setups and present SumUp’s ecosystem as the long-term solution.
• Own your territory and manage your CRM, progressing merchants from initial talk to onboarding.
• Create at least three real sales conversations daily and convert 3–5 new merchant partnerships weekly.
• Establish yourself as the payments expert within your local business community.
