Role Overview

We are recruiting lived experience engagement facilitators to work on adult mental health wards in Warwick. The role embeds lived experience across inpatient services and focuses on co‑production, patient voice and partnership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work on the ward to ensure patients’ voices are heard at all levels – from ward rounds to partnership board meetings.
  • Facilitate group and one‑to‑one sessions with patients, carers and staff, holding spaces for ideas on service delivery.
  • Champion co‑production and feed findings into transformation workstreams to co‑design inpatient services.
  • Represent patient perspective in discussions with clinicians, service planners and organisational leaders.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Lived experience of mental ill health, trauma or distress as a patient or carer.
  • Experience of an inpatient mental health ward or a carer of an inpatient.
  • Passion for co‑production and improving patient experience.
  • Ability to represent the patient perspective in discussions at all organisational levels.
