Everi, Inc. in Milton Keynes is hiring a Class 1 HGV driver for permanent night shifts. Expect 45 hours weekly with a £42,798.20 salary plus a nights uplift of 0.50 per hour worked between 10pm and 6am.

The role involves trunking to regional hubs while upholding high safety and service standards. You'll drive a modern Volvo fleet, typically 9-hour shifts starting around 5–6pm, with potential loading/unloading duties and pallet truck usage.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class 1 driving licence.
• Driver CPC qualification card required.
• Completed DCPC training hours or be working towards them.
• Excellent knowledge of road transport laws and safe driving practices.

Responsibilities

• Trunking to regional hubs on the night shift.
• Inspect vehicle and trailer daily; complete Defect Report if needed.
• Scan consignments and drive pallet trucks when required.
• Load/unload at sites where necessary; plan own routes.
• Ensure deliveries reach customers on time and maintain safety.

Most of our sites run from Monday to Friday, with 45 hour working weeks, and?9-hour?shifts per day which typically start at?5/6pm. Our well-organised shift schedules mean you often know in advance where?you'll?be driving, taking the stress out of your day. Key Role Responsibilities We?don't?micromanage our drivers. We trust them to get the job done and plan their own routes.?This job involves trunking to regional hubs on the night shift. So, if you like
the independence of being out on the open road for long stretches - but also want to be home again at the end of every 9-hour shift, this is the job for you. You'll?make sure Cages, Pallets, Freight, Stillages and Yorks get to and from customers bang on time. At some sites, the goods will be loaded or unloaded for you - at others,?you'll?need to do it yourself. Scanning consignments and driving pallet trucks will sometimes be part of your day.
