Job summary

KONE is seeking a Technical Sales Support Engineer to cover the Liverpool and Manchester region, with base in Warrington. You will analyse customer technical needs, develop proposals, and act as the customer contact for technical questions, while supporting the sales team to provide clear, compliant solutions.

In the delivery and design phases you will coordinate with contractors, architects and engineers, run site surveys, prepare documentation, plan projects, and ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Engineering/technical background or equivalent lift/escalator engineering experience.
• Excellent communication skills essential.
• Customer-focused with attention to detail.
• Basic AutoCAD experience; training provided.
• Revit & Navisworks desirable.
• IT literacy; proficient with MS Office 365.
• Driving licence required.
• Enthusiastic about engineering and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer relationships and analyse technical needs to develop proposals.
• Provide technical and costing support for the sales process; coordinate specifications and delivery times.
• Ensure solutions meet codes, regulations and safety requirements.
• Conduct technical site surveys and plan project delivery to schedule.
• Organise documentation, drawings and material specifications; coordinate purchasing.
