Job summary

KONE is seeking a Customer Solutions Engineer to support the sales team in Warrington, covering Liverpool and Manchester. You will define specifications, prepare CAD layouts, estimate installation times and costs, and handle technical questions to enable successful project delivery.

Based in Warrington, you will collaborate with Sales, Operations and design teams to translate customer needs into technically sound solutions, ensuring compliance with codes and delivering on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Engineering or technical background in mechanical engineering preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer-focused with attention to detail.
• Basic AutoCAD experience; Revit & Navisworks desirable; IT literacy with MS Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customers' technical needs and develop proposals showing how KONE solutions meet those needs.
• Be the technical contact for questions; participate in planning meetings with contractors, architects, and owners.
• Attend meetings and coordinate with project design team (developers, architects, main contractors, engineers).
• Provide technical and costing support during the sales process; coordinate specifications and delivery times with Supply Line, Sourcing or local subcontractors.
• accountable for solution engineering and ensuring compliance with codes, regulations, and safety requirements.
• Organize the order process and documentation; create a plan for each project and ensure it runs to schedule; manage drawings and related documents.
• Mange the purchasing of required materials; conduct site inspections; arrange handover to Operations; adhere to ISO procedures.
