Job summary

KONE is seeking a Construction Manager to join the Lift Installation team. The role covers South Manchester, Liverpool and North Wales and focuses on safe, efficient delivery of installation projects.

You will lead installation teams, plan resources, monitor progress and ensure customer commitments are met. The position offers hybrid work options and opportunities for development within a global leader in lifts and escalators.

Qualifications

People management and leadership capabilities.
Strong relationship management with customers and subcontractors.
Commercial awareness and ability to balance cost and schedule.
Excellent knowledge of health and safety requirements on site.
Valid UK driving licence.
Lift industry experience is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate schedules for materials, installation activities and handovers.
Ensure health, safety and environmental compliance on site.
Coordinate resources, logistics and workforce to meet project goals.
Provide clear direction to installation teams and track progress.
Coach and develop team members and drive continuous improvement.
Conduct site visits, safety audits and cost control to support profitability.
