Job summary

Nuffield Health in the United Kingdom is seeking a Lifeguard for a fixed term, part-time role at our gym. The successful candidate will help keep members safe and happy, with a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification or equivalent and training records kept up to date.

You will work as part of a friendly team, ensuring poolside safety across wet side facilities, including the pool, spa, sauna and steam room, while delivering excellent customer care and support to members.

• Must hold NPLQ or equivalent and provide training records.
• Energetic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Passionate about great customer care and be a real team player.

Responsibilities

• Help members stay safe and healthy in the pool, spa, sauna and steam room areas.
• Be attentive and alert at all times.
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment.
• Welcome and support members when using facilities.
• Pay attention to safety and respond to incidents immediately.
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times.

As a Lifeguard, you will:

• Help our members stay safe and healthy when using our wet side facilities - the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room

• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times
