Job summary

Nuffield Health in Tunbridge Wells is seeking a Lifeguard to help keep members safe and happy across our wet facilities, including pool, spa, sauna and steam room. The role is part-time (12 hours per week) with a pro rata salary of £27,248 and a focus on excellent customer care.

You will hold an NPLQ or equivalent, provide training records, and work as part of a supportive team dedicated to safety and service.

Qualifications

• Must hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent.
• Excellent customer care and enthusiasm.
• Be a real team player with willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Keep members safe in the wet side facilities (pool, spa, sauna, steam room).
• Be attentive and alert at all times.
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment.
• Welcome and support members when using facilities.
• Respond quickly to incidents and enforce Pool Safety Guidelines.

As a Lifeguard, you will:

• Help our members stay safe and healthy when using our wet side facilities - the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room
• Be attentive and alert at all times
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times
• Helping you feel good.
