Job summary

Nuffield Health in London is hiring a part-time Lifeguard to keep members safe and comfortable across our wet side facilities. You’ll bring enthusiasm, a positive attitude and a strong commitment to customer care with an NPLQ or equivalent qualification.

You’ll work 16 hours per week at Chislehurst FWC, contributing to a friendly, professional environment while following Pool Safety Guidelines and supporting members in using the pool, spa, sauna and steam room.

Qualifications

• Must hold the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent.
• Demonstrates strong customer service and a friendly, helpful attitude.
• Able to work as part of a team and stay proactive under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Help our members stay safe and healthy when using our wet side facilities – the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room
• Be attentive and alert at all times
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times

As a Lifeguard at our gym, you’ll hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and you’re able to provide ongoing training records. You have bags of enthusiasm, a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills. Like us, you’re passionate about great customer care – and you’re a real team player.

As a Lifeguard, you will:
