Job summary

Nuffield Health in Cwmbran is seeking a Lifeguard to help keep members safe across our pool, spa, sauna and steam room. This is a part-time, 16-hour-per-week role with a pro rata salary of £26,707.20.

You will hold an NPLQ or equivalent, maintain safety, and deliver excellent customer care as part of a friendly team. Benefits include gym membership and opportunities to grow within the organisation.

Qualifications

• Hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm, positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
• Be a real team player with passion for customer care.

Responsibilities

• Keep members safe in pool, spa, sauna and steam room.
• Be attentive and alert at all times.
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment.
• Welcome and support members using facilities.
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to incidents promptly.

As a Lifeguard, you will:

• Help our members stay safe and healthy when using our wet side facilities – the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room

• Be attentive and alert at all times

• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment

• Welcome and support members when using the facilities

• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away

• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times
