Job summary

Nuffield Health in Birmingham Rubery is seeking a Lifeguard to help keep our pool and wellness facilities safe and welcoming. The role requires an NPLQ or equivalent, a positive attitude, and commitment to excellent customer care.

This part-time position offers the chance to work within a supportive team and develop skills across fitness, swimming and health services. The successful candidate will work up to 16 hours per week with pro rata pay, joining our team to maintain high safety standards

Qualifications

• Must hold National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent.
• Available for 16 hours per week.
• Demonstrates enthusiasm, teamwork and great customer care.

Responsibilities

• Help members stay safe and healthy in pool, spa, sauna and steam room.
• Be attentive and alert at all times.
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment.
• Welcome and support members when using facilities.
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to incidents quickly.
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times.

As a Lifeguard, you will:
