Job summary

Nuffield Health Chigwell is seeking a Lifeguard to help keep members safe and engaged in our pool and wellness facilities. The role requires a current NPLQ or equivalent, with training records available for audit and inspection.

You will work as part of a friendly team, delivering high standards of customer care while maintaining safety across wet-side facilities. This is a permanent, part-time position with a pro rata annual salary of £27,248.

Qualifications

• Holds National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent.
• Provides training records and maintains ongoing records.

Responsibilities

• Monitor activity in the pool, spa, sauna and steam room to ensure safety.
• Be attentive and alert at all times.
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment for members.
• Welcome and support members when using facilities.
• Respond promptly to incidents and enforce pool safety guidelines.

As a Lifeguard, you will:

• Help our members stay safe and healthy when using our wet side facilities – the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room
• Be attentive and alert at all times
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times
