Job summary

Nuffield Health Gosforth is seeking a Lifeguard to ensure safe use of our pool, spa, sauna and steam room. You will contribute to a friendly atmosphere and deliver excellent customer care, supported by your NPLQ or equivalent qualification.

The role is permanent, part-time (12 hours per week) at Gosforth and is paid pro-rata with a negotiable rate based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent.
• Strong customer care mindset and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Help members stay safe in wet areas (pool, spa, sauna and steam room).
• Be attentive and alert at all times.
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment.
• Welcome and support members using facilities.
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to incidents quickly.
• Ensure PoolSafetyGuidelines are followed at all times.

As a Lifeguard, you will:

• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away
