Job Description:

We are currently seeking a part-time, temporary Library Assistant for our client based in Fivemiletown Library. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience with a public sector organization. The position starts ASAP and operates on a 2-week rota basis.

Hours of work: 22.5 hours per week

Rate of pay: £13.21 per hour; Saturday rate £19.82 per hour

Duties include:

• Introducing and explaining library services, rules, and regulations
• Providing library services to meet the learning, information, leisure, and cultural needs of the community
• Having at least 5 GCSEs including English and Maths grade C or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience providing face-to-face service to the public
• Experience working with children and elderly people
• Experience using ICT for accessing, selecting, and utilizing information
