A charitable organization in Batley is looking for LGV drivers to collect and deliver surplus stock from various locations. The role involves ensuring timely loading and delivery while adhering to safety regulations. Candidates should possess a Class C driving licence, a digital tacho card, and ideally have previous delivery experience. The position offers a 36-hour contract with potential overtime. There are two LGV driver "E" grade level positions with 36-hour contracts although there could be up to 10 hours paid overtime associated with this role. Please note that applications will be reviewed and interviews offered on an ongoing basis until all of the positions are filled.
Please bring to the interview your Proof of Right to Work in the UK, such as your passport, or Birth Certificate with the names of at least one of your parents on, together with a document with your NI number on it.

Job purpose: To collect and deliver surplus stock from collection points within shops / depots and / or the delivery of processed stock to customers.
To be aware of all the Department of Transport, driver regulations and ensure all reasonable steps are taken to comply fully. On the grounds of vehicle / road safety, this factor over rules all other factors.
