Job summary

Schenk UK is recruiting an experienced LGV Driver (Class 1 ADR) to join our Scunthorpe depot, working Monday to Friday on a tramping pattern. We offer a comprehensive pay package with training periods and overtime opportunities.

You will hold a LGV Class 1 licence, Driver CPC, ADR (all classes except 1 & 7), a tachograph card and a safety-focused approach. Previous tanker experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• An LGV Class 1 licence with no more than six points.
• A tachograph card.
• A Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
• A valid ADR licence all classes other than 1 & 7.
• A strong understanding of Driver Transport Legislation.
• A safety focus.
• Minimum 2 years Class 1 experience.
• Tanker Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV Class 1 vehicles at the Scunthorpe depot on a Monday–Friday tramping pattern.
• Maintain compliance with ADR/CPC requirements and safety standards.
• Complete trips accurately and maintain vehicle and records.
• Participate in training and PPE provision as part of the role.

We are looking for an experienced LGV Driver (Class 1 ADR) to join our team based at our Scunthorpe depot, working Monday to Friday tramping.

Pay Rates

• £162.80 per day during your training period. Once you have completed your training you will revert to the below pay agreement.
• £14.80 per hour
• Overtime hours at £22.20 after 8 hours per shift Monday to Friday
• £41.54 per night out
• £22.20 per hour for the first 5 hours on a Saturday then any additional hours at £29.60 per hour
• £29.60 per hour paid for Sunday shifts
• £150 per day paid Bank Holidays plus Standard Bank holiday pay
• 45 hours guarantee (9 hours per day)

In addition, overtime is available, CPC training hours, courses and CPC accreditation and driver medicals are all paid for. Full PPE is provided.
