Job summary

Schenk UK is seeking an experienced Class 1 LGV Fuel Driver to join the team in Manchester on a Monday to Friday PM shift. The role offers competitive hourly rates, paid breaks, and opportunities for overtime.

In addition to the driving duties, you will hold an LGV Class 1 licence with up to six points, a valid Driver CPC, ADR qualifications, and a PDP. Safety-first mentality is essential.

Qualifications

• LGV Class 1 licence with up to six points.
• Valid tachograph card.
• Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
• ADR licence for all classes except 1 and 7.
• Solid understanding of Driver Transport Legislation.
• Minimum 2 years Class 1 experience.
• At least 2 years tanker experience and PDP.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 1 tanker vehicles from Manchester to schedule a Mon-Fri PM shift.
• Maintain safety standards and ensure regulatory compliance during transport.
• Accurately complete tachograph records and trip documentation.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Class 1 LGV Fuel Driver to join our team based at Manchester, working a Monday to Friday PM shift pattern.

Pay Rates

• £21.63 per hour
• £28.84 per hour Saturday overtime
• £32.45 per hour Sunday overtime
• £43.26 per hour Bank holiday
• £4.15 meal allowance.

Essential Requirements

• An LGV Class 1 licence with no more than six points
• A tachograph card
• A Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
• A valid ADR licence all classes other than 1 & 7
• A strong understanding of Driver Transport Legislation
• A safety focus
• Minimum 2 years Class 1 experience
• At least 2 years Tanker Experience
• A valid PDP (Petroleum Driver Passport)
